Yeah, looks like it is. In the Rin and Ruri flashbacks he came under the cover of night-which makes sense, easier to kidnap someone then, fewer witnesses and it’s darker.

He appeared during the MCC, during the evening part of it, and when he appeared in Synchro it was dusk/in dark places.

So yeah, this is the first time he’s been visible in proper daylight.

Clearly he’s some kind of vampire.

But thinking on it it kinda makes sense, all the other times he appeared he was trying to 1) keep a low profile and not be seen and 2) kidnap someone, both of which are easier under the cover of darkness.

However he’s in his home dimension so he has no need to keep a low profile, home field advantage after all. I’m, not entirely sure WHY he was that close to You Show Duel School though, unless it was lucky coincadence and he was just strolling through. He certainly didn’t know Yuzu was there.
